You are so much stronger than you know.

I am here to join you in deep exploration of your emotional journey.

Together we will identify and solidify your internal and external resources, deepen your emotional resilience, and create a path out of the darkness.

We will start with a consultation and full assessment and then work together to create an individualized treatment plan.

About Me

Kat (they/she) is a Psychiatric NP specializing in psychotherapy and medication management from a feminist, anti-racist, mindfulness-based approach. She works with clients to create a personalized plan to develop internal and external resources, find relief, and build hope. Kat has training and experience working with LGBTQ+, TGNB, queer fertility, and hormonal issues across the lifespan

I have always been interested in the intersections of and systemic inequalities found in mental health care, conception, and birth.

After a brief academic career, I trained as a volunteer doula, working with people giving birth or undergoing termination procedures. This experience led me to nursing school, and I worked as a nurse in NYC for 7 years while working towards my PMHNP degree. I have worked with acutely ill patients in the hospital and with HIV+ and at-risk populations in an outpatient clinic.

I am also interested in the complex interplay of hormones and psychiatry across the lifespan, including endogenous and exogenous hormones, PCOS, PMDD, and menopause.
